We are recruiting a South London Mentoring Coordinator!
We are recruiting a part-time Mentoring Coordinator to manage and expand our high-quality Mentoring Project across Croydon and South London. The project aims to help young refugees and asylum-seekers to access education, improve their English, increase independence skills, build confidence, access appropriate services, reduce isolation, and adapt to life in the UK.
We are looking for an outstanding candidate who is passionate about supporting young refugees and asylum-seekers to adapt to life in the UK and reach their full potential. You will need to have experience in managing diverse teams of volunteers and be enthusiastic about the impact they can have on those in need. You will also need to have a background in, or strong knowledge of the UK’s education system and have worked with young refugees in the past.
Being part of a small team, you will get the opportunity to contribute ideas and help to shape Hope for the Young as we grow and support more young people than ever before. If you think you have what it takes, we would love to hear from you!
